The Trial by Written Declaration process exists for every California driver. The problem is access: the process is hard to follow from the outside.
TicketClear removes that friction. We built the court database and the document engine so that any California driver, not just those who can afford a lawyer, can contest a citation in 10 to 15 minutes from their phone.
The technology stack includes an automated document preparation engine built on California Vehicle Code and court formatting requirements, and a 58-county court address and filing database whose court website links are checked every month. None of it requires you to know anything about the law.
