1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TicketClear, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Service Description

TicketClear is an automated document generation tool. We format your statements into a Trial by Written Declaration for California infraction-level traffic citations, as provided for under California Vehicle Code Section 40902. We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. We do not represent you in any legal proceeding. We do not guarantee any particular outcome.

3. User Responsibilities

You are the author and owner of your declaration. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. You are responsible for reviewing your generated declaration before filing. You are responsible for meeting your court deadline, including printing and mailing your documents to the court.

4. Eligibility

Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to use TicketClear's services. By using this platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you may not use this service; please ask a parent or guardian to submit on your behalf.Citation eligibility: Our service is available for California infraction-level traffic citations only. The following violation types are outside the scope of our tools and will be automatically declined: DUI (VC 23152, 23153), hit-and-run (VC 20001, 20002), reckless driving (VC 23103, 23104), evading a peace officer (VC 2800.1, 2800.2), speed over 100 mph (VC 22348(b)), and zero-tolerance underage DUI (VC 23140, 23136). We check eligibility before you pay.

5. Refund Policy

TicketClear's service is complete at the point of document generation. Once your Trial by Written Declaration PDF has been created, the service has been delivered.Refunds are issued for: a system error that prevented document generation, a system error that produced incorrect court information in your filing packet, a duplicate charge, or a triage error where your citation was deemed ineligible after payment was collected.Refunds are not issued for: dissatisfaction with the content of your generated documents, a change of mind after document generation, or the outcome of your case.See our full Refund Policy for details on how to request a refund.

6. Payment

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. All prices are one-time fees displayed at the time of purchase. We do not store your credit card details. Your bail deposit, required by the court to process a Trial by Written Declaration, is separate from TicketClear's service fee and is paid directly to the court.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from TicketClear by automated means; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our platform; use the service for competitive intelligence gathering or to build a competing product; or access the service through automated tools, bots, or scripts except as explicitly permitted.

8. Intellectual Property

The declaration documents generated by TicketClear are your property. You authored the statements within them. However, the TicketClear platform, templates, algorithms, interface design, and underlying code are the intellectual property of TicketClear and may not be copied, modified, or distributed.

9. Limitation of Liability

TicketClear provides document generation tools on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for court decisions, missed deadlines, postal delays, or any other outcomes related to your traffic citation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of TicketClear shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

11. Privacy

Your use of TicketClear is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number during the citation submission process, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from TicketClear, LLC. These messages may include:
  • Order confirmation when your documents are being prepared
  • Notification that your declaration documents are ready
  • Notification when your filing packet is ready for download
Message frequency: Up to 3 messages per citation submitted.Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.To opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further SMS will be sent.To get help: Reply HELP or contact us at support@ticketclear.ai.Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to use TicketClear's services. Your documents will still be generated and available for download.We do not sell your phone number or use it for marketing purposes.
