Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide when creating an account (email address) and when using our service (citation details, intake questionnaire answers, and court information). If you opt in, we may also collect outcome data about your case result. We collect payment information through our payment processor, Stripe — we do not store your credit card details directly.

We use your information to deliver the service: generating your Trial by Written Declaration, processing payments, and sending transactional emails (account confirmation, declaration status updates, deadline reminders). We also use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our contestability scoring models. Your personal information is never used for advertising or marketing purposes beyond service-related communications.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever. We do not share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not use your citation details or intake answers for any purpose other than generating your declaration and improving our service through anonymized analysis.

We use the following third-party services to operate TicketClear: Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payment processing — they receive only the payment data necessary to process your transaction), Resend (transactional email delivery), PostHog (product analytics and session recording — see Section 8 for details), and Google Cloud Vision (citation photo text extraction). Each service processes only the minimum data necessary for its function and is governed by its own privacy policy.

Your data is stored on Supabase-hosted infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We use row-level security policies to ensure you can only access your own data. We follow industry-standard security practices including secure authentication, HTTPS everywhere, and regular security reviews.

As a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use it; request deletion of your personal data; and opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. To exercise your rights, contact us at support@ticketclear.ai.

We retain your account information and declaration data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support@ticketclear.ai. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use PostHog, a product analytics platform, to understand how users interact with our service and to improve the experience. PostHog may use cookies or local storage to maintain anonymous session identifiers.

We use session recording technology to record anonymized user sessions for the purpose of improving the product experience. These recordings capture mouse movements, clicks, and page interactions. Sensitive fields such as passwords are never recorded. Session recordings are not used to identify individual users and are accessible only to TicketClear's administrative team.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any cookies that identify you for marketing or advertising purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
