Delete your TicketClear account
Last updated: October 25, 2026
TicketClear (the TicketClear app and ticketclear.ai, from TicketClear LLC) prepares documents for California traffic tickets. You can delete your TicketClear account and the information that goes with it at any time, in any of these three ways. Each one deletes your account right away.
1. In the TicketClear app
Open the app and go to Account, then tap Delete account. Confirm, and sign in again if the app asks you to. Your account is deleted right away.
2. On our website
Sign in at ticketclear.ai and open the account deletion page. Type DELETE to confirm. If you have not signed in during the last 10 minutes, enter your password or sign in again first. Your account is deleted right away.
3. Without the app
Enter the email address on your account below and we will email you a code. Enter the code here, type DELETE to confirm, and your account is deleted right away. You do not need the app or a password.
Checking whether you are signed in…Can’t get email at that address anymore? Write to support@ticketclear.ai.
What we delete
When your account is deleted, we delete these from our database and file storage:
- Your account details and profile.
- Your tickets, your answers and your account of what happened.
- Ticket images, evidence photos, captions and diagrams.
- The documents we prepared, your signed forms and your electronic signature.
- Your confirmation records, including your consent to AI processing in the app.
- The record of steps you reached, your survey and feedback answers, and any letter problems you reported.
- The records of the emails we sent you, free deadline reminder signups with the same email address, and the Google ad click details saved with your tickets.
- If you signed in with Apple in the app, we also ask Apple to end TicketClear’s access to your Apple sign-in.
What we keep, and why
A few records stay after your account is deleted:
- Opt-out lists: if you unsubscribed from our emails or replied STOP to a text, we keep your email address or phone number on our opt-out list, so we keep honoring your choice.
- Copies held by our providers: DocuSeal keeps copies of your declaration and signature, and Stripe keeps payment records, under their own retention rules and legal obligations.
- Backups: our hosting and database providers keep server logs and backups for a limited time, so deleted information can remain there until those copies expire.
- Chat messages asking to reach a person are not linked to your account, so they are not removed when you delete it. Ask us at support@ticketclear.ai and we will delete them.
- Published results: if you let us publish your result, it stays on our website until you ask us to remove it.
- We may also keep information where the law requires it.
How long it takes
Deleting in the app, on the website or with a code on this page takes effect right away and cannot be undone. Copies in backups and with our providers are removed on their own schedules, as described above.
For more detail, see section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
Your ticket has a deadline. Tell your side today.
Most California citations have a 60-day deadline. Write what happened in your own words, then review, edit and sign your declaration.
